In my practice, I use warmth, curiosity, compassion, challenge, straightforwardness, kindness, and humor to meet you wherever you are at in a given moment. Learning, growth, meaning, and healing all happen in the context of relationships. In our work together, we will build a relationship centered on trust and safety from which we can explore your mind and experiences.
Every single part of you is welcome in the room with me and in relationship with me. I believe every part of you exists for an important reason, which we can learn about through conversation and experience with one another. Together, we will cultivate and use curiosity to gain understanding about:
where your suffering comes from
what is important to you
how you would like to relate to yourself and others
what the ingredients of a meaningful life are for you
who you are!
& so much more…

I then did paralegal and mitigation work for the Maryland state and federal public defenders. I began work as a therapist at an outpatient mental health clinic in Baltimore County. I subsequently practiced out of the Baltimore Center for Psychotherapy where I also received training in psychodynamic psychotherapy.
